After lots of procrastinating, I finally decided to go through and clean out my sewing room. We’re hoping to get some cabinets built to help with organization and space, so a cleaning was definitely in order. As of now, I can hardly get to my sewing machine without stepping over bins, piles of fabric and boxes of supplies. Add an almost two year old who likes to “help” to the mix and not a lot of sewing has been happening!
This is good news for you! After cleaning out my scrap pile, I realized I really just needed to get rid of what I could to make room for more pretties down the line. I put together four different fabric scrap packs filled with coordinating fabrics, a few buttons and trimmings.
Each pack includes fabrics that range from 3.5 inch squares to larger squares and strips that could be cut into smaller usable pieces.
I’ve also included a few pretty buttons and trimmings that include ribbon and pieces of lace trim that you can include in your scrappy projects!
Check out these cheerful scrap packs in my etsy shop for more photos and details! Need a few ideas on some scrappy projects to start on? Here are a few photos and links to projects I’ve completed with scraps in the past.
