Last Thursday, James and Gwen drove us down to Violet (another sister) and Stanley’s to stay for a week. Newcastle is such a cute little town right by the sea and along the Mourne mountains. There’s a beautiful view everywhere you look! Violet and Stanley live a short walk away from downtown Newcastle, so we’ve walked down there several times and shopped in all the cute stores. There was an amazing bead shop in town so… I went a little crazy buying beads. There’s also tons of thrift stores, which Grammie loved! I was even able to find a wool skirt in great shape for three pounds!
Violet and Stanley have two children, Diane and Bertie. Diane and her family had us over a couple of times for a meal and thanks to them, I have access to the internet! Bertie and his wife, Joyce had us over last night for a meal as well, so we’re getting around to see everyone!
