Here’s the finished product! When I saw these little foxes and quails, I knew I couldn’t leave them behind! Some friends of ours are having a little boy soon, and his daddy likes to hunt. So… what fabric could be better for this little hunter? Isn’t it absolutely adorable? I ended up ordering a little extra fabric just for me. Not sure what I’ll use the rest for, but I’m so excited!
{The fox, bear, quail and tree bark fabrics can be found here.}
How big are the squares?
The squares were cut at 6 inches and ended up being about 5.5 inches when sewn together. I usually use a 1/4 inch seam allowance when I sew my squares together.
Love the fabrics you used, can you tell me what is the name of the polka dots? Thanks 🙂
The polka dot fabric was something I’d had in my scrap pile for a while, and unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of it! If I happen to come across it, I’ll post it on here.
For those of you who asked about the grey and white polka dot fabric, I figured out what it was! It’s Michael Miller Quarter Dot Grey. This is where I found it recently:

Love your quilt and colors you used. Is that polka dot square gray or navy? Thanks!
Is polka dot fabric navy or charcoal?
Thanks! It’s charcoal.
Is there a tutorial for this quilt. I am a beginner…
I’m actually working on several quilt tutorials now. Check back!
I will!
That’s a wise answer to a tricky qutesion
I am wanting to make my grandsons a quilt like this. I have never quilted so I have a lot of questions. What is the size of this quilt? How many squares does it take to make this quilt?
Love this quilt you posted in 2012! Can I still get these fabrics???
What is the size of the quilt? What is the width and heighth please?
