I took a break from baby boy nursery stuff yesterday to finish this quilt I started a few weeks ago. I’d run out of the fabric I wanted to use for the binding, so I had to wait for more to arrive and finally wrapped it up yesterday. For the top of the quilt, I pretty much just used bigger pieces of fabric from my scrap pile.
I LOVE all of the fabrics I used in this quilt, especially the Lotta Jansdotter Mini Dot on the back of the quilt. I’m going to have a hard time seeing this one go!
SHOP news: This quilt along with the orange/blue triangle quilt and the grey/green triangle quilt are all for sale in my etsy shop. These are all one of a kind, so check them out!
ETSY 🙂 Yay!!!!
I know this is an old post – but what type of batting did you use? I’m a new quilter and I have trouble getting my baby blankets soft and floppy, and I’m assuming it’s mh batting (I use a natural, needled cotton that is thin, but seems stiff). Thanks!
I usually use whatever is on sale at Joann Fabrics. Any of the battings there work nicely. Happy sewing!
